Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment. This includes proper handling, storage, and cleaning practices to maintain the highest standards of hygiene.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate cutting tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Ensure equipment is in good working condition and report any malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to management.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Experience: A minimum of 12 months of hands-on experience in meat cutting and deboning is required. Previous experience working in a meat processing or food production facility is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques, deboning processes, and proper handling of meat products. Ability to use cutting tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Physical Requirements: This role requires physical stamina and strength, as you will be standing for extended periods and may need to lift and carry heavy items. Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.
Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures for welding components.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order.
Measure and cut workpieces using powered saws, shears, or grinders.
Help set up equipment, prepare materials, and manage tool setup.
Comply with all instructions provided by the Production Supervisor to ensure efficient task execution.
Meet all project deadlines as directed by the Team Lead and Production Supervisor.
Perform daily 5S activities to ensure the area remains clean and organized by the end of each day.
Ensure the work area is maintained safely and report any health & safety concerns to the Director of Operations immediately.
Promptly communicate any operational issues or concerns to the Team Lead and Production Supervisor for rapid resolution.
Must have experience with MIG welding, TIG is an asset.
